The Impact of Transformational Leadership Style on Employees' Work Performance in Vietnamese Commercial Banks

Abstract
The research topic of the impact of a manager's leadership style on employee performance always attracts researchers and administrators. This article was conducted to evaluate the influence of managers' leadership style on the work efficiency of subordinates at Vietnamese commercial banks. Analysis results indicate that transformational leadership style positively influences employee work performance directly and indirectly through the mediating role of corporate culture. These findings enrich empirical evidence to theories about the vital role of transformational leadership style on employees and have practical significance by suggesting meaningful management implications for bank managers.
