Factors Influencing Sustainable Business of SMEs in Vietnam
Abstract
Sustainable business has been identified as a possible way to handle environmental degradation. The SMEs owner-managers’ attitude is a positively important factor of sustainable business engagement. Unfortunately, there are scant intention-based studies. As such, this study aims to identify the factors that influenced sustainable business. A total of 450 SMEs were surveyed. A quantitative approach was used to conduct this study, where data were collected directly for data analysis. The results revealed that Attitude factors, Ethic standard, Desirability, Organizational culture positively and significantly influenced sustainable business, whereas Perceive factor plays an insignificant role in sustainable business. Thus, developing sufficient sustainability for business capabilities, establishing a positive or favorable attitude, and creating attractive based on Ethic standards and Organizational culture should be emphasized in promoting sustainable business.
