Current status of active communication of 4–5-year-old preschool children in scientific discovery activities in some preschools in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province
Abstract
The study was conducted to investigate the current situation of 4-5-year-old preschool children's active communication in scientific discovery activities in some pre-schools in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh. The study was conducted based on the main research method of observation on sixty 4-5-year-old preschool children in scientific discovery activities. The research tool used was a scale to measure the level of 4-5-year-old preschool children's active communication in scientific discovery activities based on the three criteria of communication needs, initiative in communication, adaptation, and integration into communication relationships. The results of the study showed that the 4-5-year-old preschool children's active communication in scientific discovery activities in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province was only at an average level. In addition, the research results also showed no statistically significant difference in the level of children's active communication in terms of gender and living area. Based on the results, the study proposes measures to positively impact the active communication of 4-5-year-old preschool children in scientific exploration activities.
