Abstract

The study was conducted based on exploring the theoretical and practical foundations of training singing skills for students in the preschool education major at the college level. From practical experience, it is evident that the current teaching aids for singing skills are abundant in quantity but lacking in quality. Therefore, the research group designed several tools that were evaluated by experts for their effectiveness, including a collection of 15 Vietnamese folk songs (with guitar and keyboard accompaniment), 15 foreign folk songs (with guitar and keyboard accompaniment), 15 vocal exercises (with guitar and keyboard accompaniment), and 15 singing exercises (with guitar and keyboard accompaniment). Additionally, the study included 3 sets of CDs featuring melodic and non-melodic accompaniment along with model singing for the aforementioned folk songs and exercises. Furthermore, there were 5 electronic lecture presentations at the advanced level. The resource archive contained digitized music scores, audio samples for vocal exercises, singing exercises, folk songs, and electronic lectures.
