Abstract

This paper investigates over 200 students, including 100 male and 100 female students studying national defense and security education of Courses 31 and 32 at Center for National Defense and Security Education of Quy Nhon University using seven groups of exercises. On application of these exercises, the experimental group performed better than the control group and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups. After completing an experimental course in the national defense and security education program, there was a change, for both male and female students when the rate of being classified as excellent, good, and pass increased significantly. The study yielded specific conclusions aiming at enhancing the technique effectiveness of grenade throwing in the national defense and security education curriculum at the Center for National Defense and Security Education, Quy Nhon University.
