Factors affecting employees’ satisfaction with training – Case study: The commercial banks in Danang city
Abstract
This study determines the factors affecting employees’ satisfaction with training at commercial banks in Danang City. Quantitative research methods were utilised. The results of quanlitative research were verified by multivariate statistical techniques such as Cronbach's Alpha test, exploratory factor analysis and regression analysis. With a survey of 150 employees is conducted at commercial banks in Danang city and using the regression analysis method. The research finding shows that six factors affecting employees’ satisfaction with training, specifically: “Conformity with employee needs” has the most positive effect, followed by “Content of the program”, “Lecturers”, “Training costs “, “Applicability of training programs” and the factor that has the least influential on employees’ satisfaction with training is “Facilities”. The finding also provides some recommendations for managers to increase employees’ satisfaction with training in the banking sector.
