Abstract

Right to silence of the accused person is the one of the progressive terms admitted by many countries in the world. However, the current criminal procedure law of Vietnam only recognizes this right indirectly without any specific provisions. Research on the issues related to this right will be necessary basis for building and further completing the criminal procedure law in Vietnam.
