Abstract

In teaching science at the elementarylevel, applying STEM education not only reflectsthe appropriate content and integrated teachingperspective of the subject but also helps teachersorganize lessons in a lively way that linkstheoretical content with students' real lives.Integrating local elements into the topic of STEMeducation brings great significance, includinghelping students achieve the quality and capacityrequirements of the lesson, gain a deep awarenessof the lesson, and be more aware of their cultureand surroundings. This article presents the basisand conduct of designing the STEM educationaltheme “Tay Nguyen T' Rung” in teaching soundcontent in Science subject for grade 4 students inthe Tay Nguyen region according to the designprocess. proposed includes 3 steps: IdentifyingSTEM education topics; Analyzing the content ofSTEM education topics; and Designing theprocess of organizing activities on STEMeducation topics.
