Abstract

The ability to self-manage the training process of lecturers can be understood as the ability to control and adjust in the right direction the behaviors related to the training process to achieve the goals set by the lecturer, the school, or the education. It is one of the factors that determine the optimality and quality of the educational and teaching processes in higher education. The rapid development of science, engineering, and technology, which has had a strong impact on the training process at universities, has fundamentally changed in terms of content, programs, testing, assessment, and ensuring the quality of teaching and learning... require lecturers to quickly adapt to changes to best accomplish the set training goals that education has set. In the current credit-based education, which is considered an effective and suitable means for students, however, the challenges imposed on the lecturers are relatively strict, requiring the lecturers to have self-management competence to ensure that the tasks of the training process are always completed in the best way.
