MEASURING AND EVALUATING THE QUALITY OF LIFE INDEX IN DA NANG CITY

Abstract

The article focuses on measuring andevaluating the quality of life index of Da NangCity's population based on the method ofstandardizing the scale 0 (worst value) - 100 (bestvalue). The quality of life of Da Nang city residentsis assessed based on 3 aspects including income -employment; health - education; livingenvironment - security. In each aspect, there will becorresponding indicators based on which theauthor can measure and evaluate the populationquality of life index. Data was collected to researchthe comprehensive assessment index of the entireDa Nang City from 2016 to 2022. At the districtlevel (excluding Hoang Sa island district), theproject is implemented for 2019. Research showsthat the quality of life in Da Nang City in 2016 -2018 period is at a good level (level II) and willimprove to a very good level (level I) in the 2020 -2022 period. At the district level, research resultsshow that Most of the quality of life is at a verygood level (level I), and only Hoa Vang district isat a good level (level II). Based on the researchresults, the article also proposes some solutions toimprove the quality of life of the city's residents inDa Nang city
