Abstract

Spatial studies in literary research consider geographical space not as a static element but as a dynamic and changing factor that affects the formation of the artistic thinking of poets and writers. Combining Yi-Fu Tuan's phenomenological perspective on place with Robert Tally Jr.'s geoliterary criticism, the article analyzes how space and place are constructed in Dong Duc Bon's poetry. The results show that Dong Duc Bon's poetry has evolved in its approach to reconstructing landscapes, shifting from romantic poetics to existential poetics, to reflect the sense of exile and contemporary cultural and social conflicts.
