NATURE IN BACH VAN POETRY BOOK OF NGUYEN BINH KHIEM FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ECOCRITICISM

Abstract

Nature in literature has been of interest to researchers for a long time, but since the introduction of Ecological Criticism in Vietnam, that relationship has been approached from the other perspective. This study applies the theory of ecological criticism to study nature in Bach Van Quoc phon collection - excellent collection of Nom poetry by Nguyen Binh Khiem. In the perspective of ecocrticism, we point out the concept of the natural world (nature is a poetic dwelling place, being friends, able to listen and understand people); and behavior with nature (appreciation for the beauty of nature, appreciation and listening to nature's voice).
