Assessment of the situation of greenhouse gas emissions at some Universities in Da Nang City

Abstract

Global climate change (CC) is considered a top concern of the modern world because it threatens the goals of sustainable development and the future of mankind. According to UNDP, Vietnam is considered a country suffering heavy losses from CC and has many positive solutions to overcome environmental problems. Da Nang City, one of the cities towards environmental cities and a green growth model combined with reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, has had many positive solutions to overcome environmental problems, contributing to net GHG emission reduction to zero according to the roadmap set out by COP26 in Vietnam. This paper focuses on analyzing emissions at some universities in the Da Nang area by applying a toolkit to calculate greenhouse gas emissions from the Green Office project, thereby proposing solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. greenhouse gas emissions and system governance to meet Green Growth needs.
