Selection of suitable organization model for dam safety management in Vietnam

Abstract

     Reservoir plays an important role in exploitation of water resources and in mitigation of unexpected effects caused by water disasters.  Dam is the most important structure in a reservoir.  But there are many unsafe vulnerabilities in more than 6,600 dams in Vietnam.  There are many reasons and solutions for this, in which, dam safety management work is one solution.  This article mentions on how to select a suitable model for dam safety management work
