Calibration of water sensitive indexes of a rice crop cultivating in Northern delta, Vietnam

Abstract

     Sensitive index of agricultural plants by water is critical parameter, indicating the influence of field's water regime on it's yield. In the context of global climate change, water resources degraded, the irrigation systems' capacity is limited and the water demand is increasing year by year, study on rice crop's sensitive indexes of water stress is important and providing scientific basis for the actors and farmers in performing their reasonable irrigation systems operation and agricultural production. For that purpose, this paper presents the methodology and results of an field experiment on sensitive indexes of the rice crop, which is intensively cultivating in the Northern delta of Vietnam.
