Science base research more to water storage of reservoir in Central region of Vietnam

Abstract

     Vietnam is a country with many reservoirs, most head dams are earth dams and built between the years of 70-80, conditions and the possibility of building at the time was difficult, many dams have seriously degraded. Up to now, ecause of climate change, there are many natural disasters unusual such as flood, storms, of which central region is influenced by the unusual natural disaster more than in the country. In order to minimize damage caused by natural disasters and meet the demand downstream water users need to increase reservoir capacity. So, the article has focused research and evaluation capacity to more water reservoirs in central provinces that dam still safety working, this is scientific basis to help for the management of reference, applicable to each specific construction.
