The solution to increase the compressive strength and durability of concrete used in the concrete structures paved embankment protecting sea dikes
Abstract
This paper presents the using of ultra-fine mineral admixtures to combine with super-plasticizer in concrete component to increase the compressive strength and durability of concrete used in the concrete structures paved embankment protecting sea dikes. The concrete mixed in combination with 20% Fly ash and 10% Silica fume with 0.5% High range water reducing admixture HWR100, CP5-F20S10P0,5 gets the compressive strength at 28 days is 49MPa, chloride ion permeability after 6 months at the measurement point deep inside the concrete in 4 cm is 0.022 % its satisfy the requirements of the dense, high durability of concrete.
