Determination of the propagation limit of tidal wave on a river and the change of water level, velocity at a closure work

Abstract

     At present, the water level at a closure work on the tidal river has been deter- mined without the influence of the propagation of tidal wave at the closure work that changes the water level and velocity significantly. This paper introduces results of the scientific research project 2009 (basic level): "the guide of hydraulic calculation for closure work in tidal river" by Prof. Dr. Ho Si Minh.
