Applied numerical model Mike21Fm to evaluate effectiveness of bank protection works after construction of the kinh lo sluice to prevent flooding in the area of Ho Chi Minh city

Abstract

   The morphology of the Dong Nai Sai Gon river system will be changed after the construction of the Kinh Lo sluice to prevent flooding for Ho Chi Minh city by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1547/QD-TTg. The paper will introduce an application of using numerical model MIKE21FM to evaluate effectiveness of bank protection works after the construction of the sluice on the Dong Nai Sai Gon river system.
