Environmental flow assessment and abilities for applying to Vietnam

Abstract

    Nowaday, people have been changing hydrological regime of many rivers all over the world and causing environmental degradation. This common circumstances lead to many scientific researches on environmental flow assessment where the necessity and the way to protect of ecosystem have been mentioned. This article outlines the status of researching on environmental flow in the world and in Vietnam, provides a brief  introduction on existing environmental flow assessment methods, brings out necessary conditions and assesment of abilities for applying to Vietnam conditions.
