Method of calculation for the ground water falling by well system

Abstract

       Water treatment for foundation pit relates to geo-engineering conditions of the construction site, size of the foundation pit, excavation method, its possibility af influence on adjacent construction so, it depends on all geo-engineering investigation, design and construction. Water treatment solution for foundation pit by pumping from well system around the pit is common and effective because it based on close hydo-dynamic theory and conveniently in performance. However, sometime there was unsuccessful case due to different reasons. On the observation in the construction of Van Coc culvert in detail from the begining, the author has used the Modflow software for the recalculation and obtained the results that in accordance with the actual state. By this situation the author analyzed and brought out the judgment on causes relating to all investigation, design and construction which lead to unsuccesfulness of the water treatment solution for foundation pit in general.
