Selecting and introducing some structural of gate can be applied for tidal barrier construction in Vietnam

Abstract

     The control gate is a important category of hydraulic construction specially the tidal control, prevent sea water, fresh water keeping works. The mission of the gate is regulation the water level consideration the actual production. For barrier constructions to control the water flow on large river, research and select the type of structures and equipment for gate opening and closing to be a very important issue. That is decision the efficiency and ensures the objectives of the project in the operation and the exploitation of works. Based on an overview of the gate is applied in practice, this article is proposals, selecting and introducing some structural of large gate can be applied for tidal barrier construction in our country.
