The study on influence of Cai Nha Trang river’s flood to the planning of urban area – park – new administration center of Khanh Hoa province

Abstract

    This paper studies influence Cai-Nha Trang river's flood to the construction planning of urban area - park - new administration center of Khanh Hoa province. The research based on observation data and actual surveys with rather reliable full data series; applying advanced computational models. The study is caculated for the whole Cai river basin with many scenarios including climate change. The results are a scientific basis to propose structural measures to flooding guarantee the safety of the new administration center, as well as recommending some next research directions necessary to improve flood prevention safety for the whole Nha Trang city.
