Study on determination of reasonable fiber content to design the fiber reinforced concrete component with high compressive strength and flexural strength, durable in the marine environment

Abstract

    Using the Poly-Propylene fiber, mineral additives and new generation superplasticizer to design the fiber reinforced concrete component with high compressive strength and flexural strength, durable in the marine environment. When the binder by 25% Fly ash replacing, combined using of reasonable superplasticizer, the fiber reinforced concrete will be manufactured with waterproof achieved W12÷W14 and over 40MPa compresive strength when the fiber content of 0,5 ÷ 1%. The designed fiber reinforced concrete to meet the technical requirements for some of Irrigation works requires the high waterproof and high strength.
