Treatment method for problems in stressing post-tension tendon

Abstract

    Problems in stressing post-tension tendon can be occured in any civil projects using post-tension structures. The problems can be: broken concrete at stressing end or dead end after stressing, stripped stressing end in concrete, broken strand of tendon, blocked in duct of tendon, etc.Those problems always require punctual treatment and prevention methods to ensure timely construction schedule and quality of post-tesion structures as per code requirment. This paper presents treatment method of problems with two seldom cases: blocked in duct of tendon and stripped stressing end in concrete to illustrate for important play of stressing post-tension tendon.
