Abstract
The Hieu River is the largest tributary of the Ca River, with a catchment area to Cay Chanh Tjunction - a place of entry with the mainstream of the Ca River is 5.443km2, a length of 314km. In the Hieu River basin, there are two large reservoirs, Ban Mong and Song Sao, which regulate the flow of the system. The paper presents the simulation results of the regular flood flow on the Hieu river system with the participation of flood control regulation of Ban Mong and Song Sao. Research results showed that Song Sao reservoir is unable to reduce flood at Nghia Khanh. Ban Mong reservoir has the ability to reduce flood regularly with the scenario of flood in September 2013 for Nghia Khanh down to the water level with a frequency of 70%
