Prediction of elastic modulus of the self compacted concrete using the mineral additives of granulated blast furnace slag and rice husk ash
Abstract
When replacing the binder with 15% Rice Husk Ash and 30% Granulated Blast Furnace Slag, combined
using of reasonable superplasticizer, the self compacted concrete will be manufactured with
compressive strength from 30 to 60MPa, the self compacted concrete component with good workability,
high compressive strength, suitable for the irrigation constructions. From the results of compressive
strength, to predict the elastic modulus of concrete; the experimental formula ensures the reliability for
predicting the elastic modulus of self compacted concrete.
