Proposed the range of values for the leakage flow rate on the water supply Network
Abstract
On the water supply network, the leakage flow rate is dependent on the area of leakage, discharge coefficent, the pressure in the pipe as well as the leakage exponent values. Analysis of the theoretical formulas shows that two main factors can be to determine this value: the pressure in the pipe (P), the leakage exponent (n) and the leakage coefficient (k). Analyzing the actual operating conditions of the water supply network in the North of Ho Chi Minh City and inheriting the results of previous studies, the author conducts field survey and statistical data to give the range of values of P, Q. From there, using nonlinear regression equation and optimizing regression parameters to propose a range of values of coefficient k, n according to the range of values of P, Q and evaluate the correlation between these variables.
