Abstract

The impacts of natural disasters, such as storms, droughts and salinity, on the daily lives of people in different countries have become increasingly severe; The erratic changes in both frequency and intensity of natural disasters have caused heavy socio-economic losses and damages to many countries around the world. Besides, climate change is also one of the great challenges for each country. This study uses the Ricardo model to quantify the impact of natural disasters on crop revenue taking into account climate change in Nghe An province. The Ricardo model has been applied in the research to assess the effects of natural disasters and climate change on the income from crops of farmers. The model used in this paper stems from an applied approach within the framework of Ricardo theory applied to cross-sectional data analysis.
