Research in assessment of the hydrodynamic of the coastal estuary within the Red - Thai binh river system

Abstract

      The Red - Thai Binh River System is the largest river system in the north of our country, which ranks only after the Mekong River of the whole country. This is one of the few international river systems of our country. This is the key northern socio-economic region, transport terminals,international exchange and facility security and defense so the evolution of the dynamics of this coastal estuaries impacts highly on all activities of tens of millions of people and the economic growth, sociopolitical security of our country. Therefore, the research in assessment of the hydrodynamic regime of coastal estuarine area of the Red - Thai Binh River system can be considered to be meaningful scientific and highly practical. The quantitative of the rules of hydrodynamic for the interactions between sea and river in the estuary delta will be the scientific basis for risk mitigation, actively planning, exploiting, and effective management of the shoreline.
