Research on using Metakaolin of Vietnam to replace a part of cement in concrete production

Abstract

     This article introduces research on using Metakaolin material (MK) of Vietnam to produce concrete for hydraulic construction work. The research results indicate that MK material reduces the mobility (slump) of fresh concrete, but improves considerably the compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and the watertighness of concrete.
