The influence of some super-plasticizer, retarding admixtures on the mechanical properties of roller compacted concrete gravity dams

Abstract

    Research using Super-plasticizer, retarding additives TM25 of Sika Company, Rheoplus 26 RCC (A1) of BASF and ADVA 181 of GRACE for the Roller Compacted Concrete gravity dams construction. The Roller Compacted Concret had ensure the technical requirements of strength, workability, setting time, impermeability for constructions. Using the Super-plasticizer, retarding admixture for RCC will improve some technical properties of RCC dam, ensure reasonable construction period, its highly effective and feasible in Vietnam condition.
