Effect of diesel/water/hydrogen on performances and NOX of diesel engine

Abstract

    This paper studies the use of diesel/water/hydrogen fuel mixture for the purpose of reducing NOx emissions to meet Euro V emission requirements while maintaining performance engine engineering. Research results show that, when increasing the water content in the fuel mixture, the engine power and NOx content both decrease; when adding hydrogen gas, engine power increases while NOx emissions increase but still meets Euro V standards
