Abstract
The quality of human resources in tourism is one of the critical factors for tourism development. This study aims to assess the quality of human resources in tourism activities in Mang Den Town, a notable tourist destination in the Central Highlands. The study surveyed 131 workers working in tourism activities in Mang Den town, Kon Tum province to help them self-assess their quality in tourism activities. Tourism human resources quality in Mang Den town was assessed through 3 aspects: knowledge, skills and attitudes. Data were processed using SPSS 20 software with descriptive statistics, scale reliability assessment, exploratory factor analysis and multivariate regression analysis. The research results show that workers’ self-assessment of knowledge, skills and attitudes was often at a fair and good level. Among the factors, the skill factor had the strongest impact on workers' ability to meet their work requirements, followed by the knowledge factor.
