LABOR FORCE AND USE OF LABOR IN BEN LUC TOWN, BEN LUC DISTRICT, LONG AN PROVINCE

Abstract

Ben Luc Town is an area with a high population density and a significant labor force within Ben Luc District. Therefore, researching on the real status of labor force to propose rational and effective solutions is necessary for not only present development but also the long-term strategy of industrialization and modernization in Long An province. Analysis of primary and secondary data indicates that the abundant and relatively young labor source is a strength. However, a major limitation is that the technical qualifications of the labor force are not high. To meet the quality requirements for labor in the current integration and digital transformation phase, policies for workforce development and attracting highly qualified personnel need to be prioritized in Ben Luc.
