GIS APPLICATION IN BUILDING TOURISM RESOURCES DATABASE IN QUANG NGAI PROVINCE

Abstract

Nowadays, in the era of industry 4.0, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) products related to human use has great significance, including geographic information systems (GIS). GIS). GIS databases have been applied in the countries around the world as well as in Vietnam in many fields, especially in planning and managing natural resources and environment. Quang Ngai is experiencing strong development in tourism and is a favorite destination for domestic and international tourists. The study has identified and classified natural tourism resource spots, humanities, festivals, infrastructure and cultural characteristics in Quang Ngai province.  It then edited and completed the database to summarize the tourism potential of Quang Ngai province, including all tourist attractions built with spatial and attribute data. This database will help manage and provide information about tourism resources for users.
