Abstract

Using literature review methods, this article generalized the regulatory services of mangrove ecosystem through relevant publications. Mangrove ecosystem is a collection of plants, animals, microbial communities and abiotic environments that interact as a functional unit. Its services provide forestry goods and services which provide direct or indirect economic, physical, physiological, psychological, emotional or social benefits to people with nearly 100 different services. This article focuses on analyzing the regulatory services of the coastal mangrove ecosystem, including (1) carbon sequestration (carbon absorption) and climate regulation services (2) tidy prevention and protection of sea dykes services and (3) support services for coastal alluvial land formation.
