Abstract

Forests are considered an important element of environmental security and a condition for the formation and development of the territory. The forest environment in the Central Highland border area plays an essential role in the process of economic development, social security, and ecological balance. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain and enhance the security of the forest environment, especially by improving forest quality linked to territorial security and livelihoods. This study focuses on analyzing changes in forests, forest quality, and their impact on environmental security and local livelihoods. Based on the study of documents from authorities and published works, this article proposed solutions to ensure environmental security of forests in the research area.
