Abstract

Respond to climate change is an issue of special importance, having great influence, relationship, mutual impact and jointly deciding on sustainable development; is the basis and premise for making guidelines and policies for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security and social security. Therefore, the document of the XIII Congress pay much attention to this issue and have new points compared to the XII Congress, especially the proactive adaptation to climate change in the new situation. In addition, Vietnam actively and responsibly participated, made commitments to support global initiatives to respond to climate change at COP26, and at the same time acted practically and effectively in the fight against climate change. one of the most serious non-traditional security challenges facing the whole world today.
