THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND COPING SOLUTIONS ON THE SOCIAL SECTOR OF VINH PHUC PROVINCE IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Abstract

Due to the influence of global climate change, in recent years, Vinh Phuc's weather situation has had complicated changes, with many prolonged heat waves, rain and storms increasing in both quantity and intensity. According to the projected scenarios, the temperature and rainfall in the 21st century in Vinh Phuc province all show an increasing trend compared to the baseline period across the province. However, the variation level is quite different between scenarios. This will negatively affect the public health as well as the health system of the province. The tourism industry of the province in the 21st century is also seriously affected, especially the number of tourists. Therefore, it is necessary to have appropriate response solutions for the province.
