Abstract
Ha Giang province's underground water resources are not large. There are currently 12 aquifers in the province, including 1 porous aquifer and 11 fissure aquifers. The underground aquifers in the study area are mostly water-poor, with only 4 fissure aquifers: fissure aquifers in terrigenous carbonate sedimentary rocks of the Permian system has a level Water content ranges from poor to rich, water-rich areas are distributed in some areas of Dong Van, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Vi Xuyen and Bac Quang districts. Groundwater has relatively good quality, but has been contaminated with microorganisms, the highest in Bach Ngoc commune, Vi Xuyen district, with Coliform content exceeding 10.7 times the allowable standard (samples measured in dry season 2014); in Dao Duc commune, Vi Xuyen district, 7.7 times higher than the allowed standard (sample measured in the dry season of 2018).
