Abstract

Agriculture in Vietnam’s coastal areas is restructuring positively towards green and sustainable development, applying technology to create values in high quality products. Green growth in agriculture has created many job opportunities for workers. However, the quality of Vietnam’s agricultural human resources is still limited, skills and workmanship do not meet the needs of machinery technology and high-tech production. Some countries in the world have been succeeding in training high-quality human resources to serve the 4.0 agricultural revolution, contributing to green growth such as Japan, Norway, and Korea. This article summarizes the experiences of the above-mentioned countries, thereby draws lessons for Vietnam to further develop agricultural human resources in coastal areas.
