Abstract

Vietnamese folk games and performances are considered a form of intangible cultural heritage that needs to be preserved. One of the conservation solutions is to exploit their value for tourism activities. However, not all folk games and performances can attract tourists and exploiting the values of games and performances depends on many factors. This article uses qualitative research method to propose criteria to identify folk games and performances that can be exploited for tourism development based on research and analysis of influencing factor determinants, principles and conditions for tourism development based on promoting the value of games and folk performances.
