Some issues about consulting and job support for students of Banking Academy of Vietnam

Abstract

The current university system is not only a place for training, but also a platform to provide human resources for businesses, economic entities- employers. With the goal that Banking Academy of Vietnam, the students must meet the requirements of employers upon graduation, the job counseling and support for students is an important activity that has been implemented by the university for many years. However, reality shows that the effectiveness of this is not high. This research assesses the current situation and surveys learners about the effectiveness of career counseling activities for students, in the following aspects: implementation resources, job information provision, technical training courses soft skills, career counseling programs and job fairs... Based on the evaluation results, the article proposes measures to improve the effectiveness of job counseling and support for students at Banking Academy in the near future.
