Financial inclusion in Red River delta provinces

Abstract

Finance inclusion is a topic that has attracted the attention of many countries in the world including Viet Nam. The
paper aims at assessing the real status of finance inclusion in the Red River Delta provinces during 2013-2017.
Based on Gobal Findex, the paper suggested that financial inclusion was significantly improved, but still a big
gap among Red River Delta provinces. In the second section, the study evaluates the achievements and some
limitations in improving financial inclusion in Red River Delta. Lastly, the paper suggests recommendations to
promote financial inclusion in the Red River Delta region.
