International scientific collaboration in Banking Academy

Abstract

Internationalization has changed the landscape of higher education globally. It is notable that, internationalization has contributed for higher education role changes. The next paradigm shift is that universities are forced to participate in the process of cooperation and competition. International scientific collaboration has become a crucial consideration of universities due to its impacts on universities’ operation and development and on academic career. This paper aims to: (i) give an overview of international scientific collaboration; (ii) present some facts and figures about international scientific collaboration in Banking Academy; (iii) some recommendations are made to enhance human capacity to meets international scientific collaboration requirements in Banking Academy.
