Attracting foreign direct investment capital for marine economic development in Quang Ngai

Abstract

This article analyzes the situation of FDI attraction for the development of marine economy in Quang Ngai province. Compared to the total amount of FDI capital invested in all local areas, with the investment capital for the marine economy of neighboring localities, it shows that FDI inflows for marine economic development in Quang Ngai is still modest. Based on understanding the causes, the author makes some recommendations to increase the attraction of FDI for the development of marine economy to this locality in the future. The recommendations focus on renovating investment promotion, improving the investment environment, focusing on human resource development, and promulgating incentive policies to encourage investment in accordance with the conditions of Quang Ngai province and characteristics of marine economic sectors.
