International microfinance models and suitable model selection for Vietnam

Abstract
In Vietnam, the microfinance sector has been very important in supporting lower income populations to have
access to banking and finance services for nearly three decades, particular with the provision of credit loan for
their production and business activities to help improve their lives. The microfinance model has similarities, in
line with each organization in Vietnam. Based on the evaluation of advangtages of each model is applied in the
countries and the results from the testing phase in Vietnam in recent, the authors suggest some effective models
for Vietnam in current period.
