VSI- Dividend Investment Index, Tools for Investors Who Prefer High Dividend Stock at Vietnam Stock Market

Abstract

The paper aims to introduce the demand and procedure of appling VSI- (Dividend Investment Index) in
stockmarket monitor and indicate index sector. As a benchmark system developer, we observe the performance
of Vietnam stocks market in many years, include the sub sectors. Futher more, base on one of the earliest Index
system developed in Vietnam Stock Matket. The data set collect and consists of many individual stocks price
inputconstituents, which basically high liquidity and also dividend characteristic, under different industrial sectors,
though out time period, the outcome somehow distribute valuation for a 20 year old emerging stock market like
Vietnam. The out put VSI - (Divident Investment Index) is also employed to make investor conduct a portfolio
stock manage decision. The result inspite portfolio manager and individual stock investor a value tool in financial
decision making
