Impacts of international integration on Vietnam credit, institutions and recommendations

Abstract

2015 was marked by a strong international integration process in Vietnam. Especially, Vietnam and other participated
11 countries have recently concluded their negotiation and reached an agreement on Trans-Pacific partnership (TPP).
The process of international economic integration that favors financial markets development, capital mobilization,
market expansion, technology transfer, high quality recruitment and state monetary management innovations will bring
positive changes to the banking business operation. However, the integration process along with a liberalization of the
financial market will create more challenges to the system. The paper presents the current situation of Vietnam credit
institutions system, analyzes opportunities and challenges and proposes some recommendations to take advantage of the
opportunities for sustainable development
